The Dexter Community Education brochure will be mailed on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.    

It will be available for review on line on Wednesday, September 3, 2008.

The fall swim class registration date is Tuesday, September 16 beginning at 12:00 noon.  All other class registrations begin Wednesday, September 3, 2008.

Inclement Weather
If Dexter Schools are closed for the day or dismissed early for inclement weather, all after school Community Education classes are automatically cancelled for that day.  A decision will be made at 1:00 pm regarding Community Education events scheduled to begin after 5:00 pm that evening.  Call 734-424-4100 ext. 1409 after 1:00 pm for a recorded message.  If a late storm prevents announcement of cancellations, use your own judgment  regarding attendance.  Every effort will be made to make up time lost due to cancellation.  Call 734-424-4100 extention 8 for Dexter school closing announcements.

Notification Policy
PLEASE NOTE: We do not call or mail confirmations of registration, so come to your class at the scheduled time unless otherwise notified.  Please register early.

Refunds
A full refund will be issued if a class is cancelled for lack of enrollment. Refunds for dropping a class with a minimum enrolllment must be requested at least one week before the class begins. There is a $5.00 per class processing fee for refund requests not due to class cancellation. Other refund requests will be considered on an individual basis by contacting Dexter Community Education at 734-424-4180.
